Author Profile

Hajime Koyanagi

Representative of Augmentation Bridge, former head of Dentsu's Work Environment Reform Department.
Born in 1965, he graduated from the University of Tokyo Law School and joined Dentsu in 1988. At the end of his tenure at Dentsu, from 2016 to 2018, he was assigned by the president to participate in Dentsu's own "labor environment reform". He achieved a significant reduction in working hours across the company, reducing overtime by 60%. The reduction amounted to more than 100,000 hours per month for the entire company.
In 2019, at the age of 53, he took early retirement from Dentsu to start his own company, Augmentation Bridge, where he continues to help numerous companies reduce working hours and reform their operations.
